Peter Tanner, today’s president of the Irish Openair Toggenburg association, had the idea to organize an openair with Irish and Celtic music in Ennetbühl some time ago. Then, in 2008, the Raiffeisenbank Obertoggenburg on the occasion of its 100th anniversary of Tourismus Nesslau-Krummenau a generous amount, it was the beginning of the realization of his idea.
Despite changing weather conditions, the Irish Openair Toggenburg 2008 was a complete success. Over 2200 visitors found their way to Ennetbühl and spent an unforgettable weekend.
