The Irish Openair Toggenburg association was born
As the first Irish Openair Toggenburg in 2008 was a complete success and met with a very positive response, the organizing committee decided to hold the festival again. The Irish Openair Toggenburg association was founded for this purpose. The Irish Openair Toggenburg 2009 was a festival of extremes. The weather gods came up with quite a few ideas. Friday was characterized by Irish, rainy weather. On Saturday, however, visitors were treated to glorious late summer weather.
