Zurich Caledonian Pipe Band

The Zurich Caledonian Pipe Band was founded in 2007 and is therefore a very young band. Geographically, the pipers and drummers are based in Gockhausen, near Zurich. Their motto is: "Let's pipe and make the people happy around you!" In addition to playing traditional Scottish and Irish music, the band is also open to musical experimentation. Despite its young existence, the band can look back on many successful performances at various events, as well as a live television appearance in 2007 and the Swiss championship title won by one of its members in 2008. The Zurich Caledonian Pipe Band trains its own musicians.
