What are Skerryvore? They are like no one else. Epic in melody, intimate in feeling and rooted in the Scottish roots they carry out into the world.

Three-time winners of Scotland's Live Act of the Year award, Skerryvore have grown from their humble beginnings to become one of the leading forces in the country's thriving live music scene. At the forefront of a movement that has reinvented and reinvigorated the traditional Scottish scene for a modern, multicultural audience, the band's energetic performances have reached audiences around the world. From their beginnings in halls and bars on Scotland's west coast to festivals in the USA, Canada, Australia and across the UK and Europe, Skerryvore's diverse influences and talents have produced a musically wide-ranging, infectious yet intimate program that excites and captivates audiences.

With a mix of bagpipes, fiddle, accordion and whistles as well as guitar and vocals, underpinned by driving bass, drums and keyboards, Skerryvore represent the best of contemporary traditional Scottish music. Their now 7 studio albums show the wide range of influences that the individual musicians bring into the mix - a unique blend of folk, traditional, pop and rock.

Three singles from their latest album 'Tempus', released in April 2023, were all featured on the BBC Radio 2 New Music Playlist and the album reached number 1 in both the Official Scottish Albums and UK Folk Albums Charts and entered the Top 40 of the Official UK Charts. Skerryvore have toured the UK, Europe and the USA with their Tempus tour, appealing to a wide range of ages and tastes with their unique blend of music.
