Rousing jigs, reels and polkas, beautiful sounds, thrilling rhythms, melancholy songs, witty anecdotes: scéalta are border crossers in many respects. They live halfway across Switzerland and musically hop across the Atlantic to the islands of Cape Breton in 7/8 time, get into a wild scuffle on the Orkney Islands in Scotland or effortlessly manage the balancing act between the Orient and the Emerald Isle.
