The concert at the Irish Openair Toggenburg is a project under the direction of Simon Lüthi.
Originally founded for one night, now on the road for around 15 years - the One
Night Band is an acoustic cover band, which plays with a lot of experience, fun and
passion and an unmistakable sound.
In addition to drums and double bass, various acoustic instruments are used on stage.
and instead of one lead singer, the band has four. While the changing
lead voices provide a lot of variety, the polyphonic vocals are a
unmistakable element of the band.
The repertoire spans over 60 years of music history across all kinds of
Styles. Hits and insider tips from a wide variety of genres are played and
skillfully packed into the acoustic style. The band surprises again and again with
amazing versions of songs, which are originally arranged.
The One Night Band is authentic, down-to-earth and spontaneous through and through. Playbacks,
Samples and MIDI files are not their thing, everything is played 100% live and not infrequently
the program is spontaneously turned upside down and adapted in favour of the concert.
Their most important trademark is probably the energetic joy of playing, which Jung
and old are thrilled and carried away.
