Anach Cuan: Valais figurehead of the Celtic scene
While Anach Cuan is undoubtedly a lovely place to stroll near Galway, this is a Valais group, figurehead of the Celtic scene in Switzerland with three albums - Syndrome Celtique, Celtic Park, Un peu de tenue s'il-vous-plaît and The beats goes on - and plenty of concerts under their belt since 2002. The eight musicians combine Celtic melodies with the musical realms of the various members and pack an astonishing punch on stage as they alternate between ballads and pieces with a stormy rhythm, jumping from pop-rock to folk.
